Diseases & Conditions
Below you will find a list of some of the more prominent conditions we treat and brief information about each one.
Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a disease that occurs when cells from the lining of the uterus grow in other areas of the body. This can lead to pain, irregular bleeding, and problems with pregnancy. Endometriosis symptoms can be aggressive or timid. As an endometriosis doctor and specialist, Dr. Davis can help you find the right treatment whether it’s endometriosis hormone treatment or surgery.
Interstitial Cystitis
Interstitial cystitis is the chronic inflammation of the bladder wall and is one of the bladder conditions that we treat in our office. Treatment for interstitial cystitis includes medication, dietary changes, proper hydration, over the counter medications, and optional additional treatments like acupuncture or pelvic floor pilates. Interstitial Cystitis relief is possible!
Bleeding
Any amount of heavy or irregular vaginal bleeding should be presented to your gynecologist.
Fibroids
Fibroids are benign tumors of the uterus that start in the wall of the uterus and can be genetic. Many fibroids do not require surgery; however, there are many treatments available.
Urinary Conditions
We treat a variety of different bladder conditions including Interstitial Cystitis, Stress Incontinence, and Overactive Bladder.
